About Me

I never learned how to bike as a child.  When I graduated from college, I moved to California, and within a week my Plymouth Acclaim died.  I had no way to get to work, but thankfully, my friend found a '67 Schwinn Cruiser in the trash, so we dug it out and it became my transportation.

I got a "real" bike in 2006, tried a triathlon, then found track racing by going to a beginner session at Hellyer Velodrome.  I mostly raced on the track from 2007 - 2009, then began doing more road races.

I won my first national titles on the track in 2011, joined a professional road team in 2012, and won a Pan American Championship title on the track in 2013.  My goal is to make the 2016 Olympic team in the Team Pursuit.
