please, someone answer my question:

how do you get a flat when you are on your rollers?
i'm totally perplexed, but i flatted on my rollers this evening....

oh yeah, other cool roller news was i totally went no hands for 15 seconds. then i rolled right off the side of the rollers into my door frame. but it was totally sweet for 14 seconds.

oh yeah, and the quad measurment is at 59.0cm. muscle atrophy rules. [sarcastic font]

you're a fabulous menace!

and ... are you going to be there for michikoSan at this weekend's Pilarcitos?

btw, there's a vest needing a new home...

what size is michiko, anyway? maybe there's an unattached safeway version we can toss out on the multiverse.

yes i will be there for michiko this weekend, unless i bend another derailleur hanger. but that would be three in three weeks, so i think that is impossible.

michiko is small, so probably a small or very small. she is a crappy draft, but that doesn't stop me.

i like representing my safeway kit- i feel totally official and badass. a couple weeks ago someone said: "is that like a pro team?" to which i replied: "master. men's." followed by a really sleezy smile and headnod.

A: the bike god is till pissed. well, still thank the bike god that all the recent punishments were not given in summer.

You guys sure slide into prurient talk quickly while avoiding the original question: how do you get a flat on rollers?

What did the autopsy on the tire SAY? Was there a pinch, or a hole? Was there an old piece of glass that worked it's way further in? I always like to find the cause of a flat before putting another good tube in there.

I'll let you all get back to your flirtations now...

Flat on the rollers is probably caused by something that was got into the tire while on the road. I got a flat a few years ago when I had both arms in casts and was riding indoors on the trainer. It was real difficult to change the tire, but there was a piece o'glass in the tire which I presumed came from someplace outside.

And perhaps I will catch you AND Missy Chatterbox in the quad dept.; mine are on the rise.

i got a flat riding my rollers once.

i totally don't remember why though.

and i still can't ride no-hands on them. So i am VERY impressed by 14 seconds!

But I can ride standing up fairly well on them....

I suggest you kiss a goat. Offer him some graham crackers as a special treat, then smacko, right on the kisser. Your mojo will be restored.
